This video shows the successful Dissertation and Public Defense by Greta Braun of her thesis:

”Skilling Them Softly - Bridging Skill Gaps for the Future Industrial Workforce”

The thesis and her research is a very important and timely contribution to the solution of globally widespread problems of skill gaps partly caused by aging workforces and rapid technical development.

The research done by Dr Braun explores reasons and concrete ways of bridging worker skill gaps in the emerging industry 5.0, paving the way by initiatives like Ingenjör5.0 and Chalmers Upskilling Academy. The work is part of the strong committment by Chalmers University of Technology to strenghten the competence and competitiveness of the Swedish workforce.
